A working post office built between 1886 and 1891 to a design by Alfred Foulhoux, opposite Notre Dame Cathedral. The arched main hall keeps its painted maps of old Saigon and Cochinchina and a portrait of Ho Chi Minh at the far end. You can still send postcards from the counters, and stalls along the sides sell souvenirs and stamps. Free to enter.
