The backpacker street of District 1, in the Pham Ngu Lao area, lined with bars, loud music, cheap beer on plastic stools and food carts. On Saturday and Sunday from 7 pm it closes to traffic and becomes a walking street. It stays busy and noisy until late. Come for the people-watching and a drink, not for a quiet night out.
